Trinity Hosts Model United Nations San Antonio
Approximately 1,200 students will be on campus to debate and delegate global issues

The Department of Education and the Office of Conferences & Special Programs will be helping to host Model United Nations San Antonio (MUNSA), the largest student-run Model UN simulation/conference in the United States for high school students. Set up begins on Wednesday, January 3, and the conference will take place on Thursday, January 4, and Friday, January 5. This conference is organized by Trinity's professional development school partner, the International School of the Americas (ISA) High School (a school Trinity helped found). This is the 28th year of MUNSA. Similar conferences are held worldwide at the high school level, like this one, and at the collegiate level.

Approximately 1,200 students from San Antonio, Texas, the United States, and Mexico will be on campus to debate and delegate global issues and learn about Trinity University. TUPD will close lot B on the evening of Wednesday, January 3, through Friday, January 5, to accommodate the bus logistics and staging for the event.

Thank you to the many people and offices who contribute to the success of this event: Academic Technology, Admissions, Chartwells, Coates University Center, Facilities Services, Information Technology Services, Laurie Auditorium, Music Department, President's Office, Tigercard Office, Theatre Department, Trinity University Police Department, Strategic Marketing and Communications, and keynote speaker Rosa Aloisi, Ph.D.

Conferences and Special Programs is coordinating all of the conference and facilities logistics with ISA. Please contact Conferences and Special Programs if you have any questions or concerns.
